We believe that working together makes us stronger.
In 2023, our team of specialists came together to open Coastal Care Veterinary Emergency & Referral Hospital. We had a shared goal: to support primary care veterinarians from across Atlantic Canada by providing specialist diagnostics and care to address the most complex health concerns faced by their patients. By working hand-in-hand with your pet's regular vet our team of specialists can help achieve the best possible outcome for your beloved companion.
We're built for this.
Our brand new 17,000+ square foot facility includes three operating suites, a dedicated ICU (intensive care unit), and nine examination rooms. A brand-new CT scanner, ultrasound technology and digital radiography are just a few of the diagnostic tools we are equipped with that take our diagnostic and testing capabilities above and beyond the scope of standard veterinary care.
We have spent years studying specialized care for pets.
Becoming a Board-Certified Veterinary Specialist requires a great deal of hard work, dedication and time. Beyond the 6-8 years of education required to earn a veterinary degree, becoming a Board-Certified Veterinary Specialist generally requires an additional internship, residency and clinical experience in the field before the certification exam can be taken. That can mean an extra 3 - 5 years of training!
We understand the unique needs of avian and exotic pets.
If your beloved companion has feathers, scales or bristles, we've got a vet for you. Dr. Noelle Webb is a general veterinarian at Coastal Care Veterinary Emergency & Referral Hospital with a special interest in the health care needs of avian and exotic pets including pot belly pigs, ferrets, parrots, turtles and more. Dr. Webb provides a range of preventive and emergency services, without the need for a referral, to help exotic and avian pets live long and healthy lives.
We believe teamwork gives your pet their best shot at a happy outcome.
Pet parents, primary care veterinarians and specialist vets all play a unique role in caring for the health of our furry friends. We believe that working hand-in-hand with pet parents and family vets helps to set sick and injured pets on their clearest path to recovery. With open lines of communication and a detailed treatment plan, we can work together towards a happy outcome for your pet.
We are ready to handle your pet's emergency any time of the day or night.
