Referral & Booking
Once we have received a referral from your primary care veterinarian, our referral coordinator will contact you to schedule a specialty appointment for your pet.
We will also send your primary care veterinarian a confirmation of your appointment.
Arrive & Get Settled
We recommend you arrive about 10 minutes early to get settled in and complete any required paperwork.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a member of our front reception team. Then we'll show you to a private and comfortable consultation room where you can wait for your appointment to begin.
Medical History & Assessment
Your veterinary specialist will introduce themselves to you and your pet, then sit with you to discuss your pet's medical history and review their issues.
They will also complete a thorough assessment of your pet's overall health. You are welcome to ask any questions you may have throughout the appointment.
Diagnosis & Treatment Plan
After the assessment, your veterinary specialist will provide you with more information, possibly recommend further diagnostic testing and discuss treatment options.
From there, they will develop a treatment plan designed specifically to meet the needs of your pet.
Primary Care Vet Follow-up
Throughout your pet's time with us, your veterinary specialist will collaborate with our internal team, and with your family veterinarian.
We'll send your veterinarian a written report covering the details of the appointment and your pet's treatment plan, and keep them up-to-date as things progress.
