Meet Dr. Jocelyn Marchiori
DVM, Anesthesiology Resident (to be completed in 2024)
Dr. Jocelyn Marchiori is originally from London Ontario, where she did her undergraduate degree in biology at the University of Western Ontario. She then went on to graduate as a veterinarian from the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) in 2020, followed by a one-year rotating internship at the Western Veterinary Specialists Centre in Calgary, Alberta. Dr. Marchiori went on to pursue an anesthesia residency at OVC and to complete a graduate degree in the Clinical Studies department finishing in 2024 after which she will join the Coastal Care team. Dr. Marchiori’s thesis work is on the pharmacology and clinical efficacy of glycopyrrolate in rabbits.
She has two cats and in her spare time loves to explore the ocean which is why working in Halifax is a dream come true!
Dr. Marchiori is excited to provide the highest level of safety for animals needing sedation and anesthesia at our hospital and will be instrumental in helping to provide pain control for your pets undergoing procedures.
